Well, Shannon and I are heading out tomorrow for Alaska! We're arriving in the evening and we'll be in Anchorage until the 3rd. :> I can't wait to see mah PEEPS! Merry Christmas everyone! <3

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Developed an exercise routine and STUCK with it and ENJOYED it.
2. Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Sooort of. It's always been "lose weight." But what I have done is learned what kind of exercise I like, and learned to enjoy reaching exercise goals.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
A girl I grew up with had a baby!!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, not this year.
5. What countries did you visit?
I didn't go out of the country. But next year I might go to Japan. :)
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Less fat on my stomach. More time with friends. A NEW APARTMENT WITH MY OWN LITTLE CREATIVE OFFICE :)
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The day I announced I was leaving PlayFirst - I was sooo nervous and didn't know how people would take it. But it wasn't too bad.
Doing 4th of July at AC with friends. Man I really really want to go to AC next year but I just don't think I can. That makes me really sad.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
The new job.. and not just getting the new job, but discovering that I *can* sometimes be picky about where I end up career-wise. I learned how to animate and make cool things in Flash. I feel like I advanced a lot within 3 months and met some of my art goals. It was great.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not spending more time with friends. Maybe failing to reach out. Also I didn't really lose weight.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not really, thank goodness!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My HTC Hero. :> it's so neato.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I can think of a few people.. one friend who left an abusive relationship.. I think she was very strong and brave. It was no easy decision for her. I'm happy for Westly for becoming so motivated and goal-oriented. Also my friend Patterpaws (Sarah) who seems to be in a pretty great relationship right now. I am happy for her.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Umm.. some vindictive and obsessive internet people who made threats to me? Also Shannon.. sorry honey, but drunk bike riding and breaking your collar bone? APPALLING! ;)
14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent and loans, no doubt.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Hanging out with FRIENDS at CONVENTIONS. And also new job.. and also exercise. Woa.
16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
Nico Nico Douga ...

I came out of the cinema feeling slightly tingly, I thought might be a good idea to sit down while waiting for my friend in the restroom. After three hours of entrancement I was a little weak with awe.
Go see Avatar. It's pretty and good.

So I got a job. A good one! Where I am administering surveys for the Center for Social Science Research at my university! It pays far better than minimum wage! Flexible hours! I could sing. I could dance.
